Hello ladies and welcome back to 100+ Women Who Care.
During the last 5 months we have all watched the events of the pandemic unfold and wondered what we could do to help. With several fundraising events postponed or even cancelled, our local charities need us more then ever!
Our leadership team met and decided that although we can’t host an “in-person” event, we can collectively continue to make a positive impact in our community in these unprecedented times. We will be replacing our September meeting with one fall meeting and doing it in a very unique way with a virtual nomination and selection process. This initiative will allow members to vote on qualifying charities from the comfort and safety of their own homes.
We realize that these are uncertain financial times for many, so to help accommodate this, we will be accepting donations for the winning charity from each individual, including members who were previously on a team. Previous team members will be placing their own individual vote. A minimum donation of $25.00 is required, however, we completely understand if you decide to temporarily withhold your donations for the time being.
With that being said, we will be suspending our membership policy with regards to fulfilling your commitment to donate at each meeting, for the rest of 2020 and will not be sending follow-up emails for collections.
We hope that you are as excited as we are to help these charities in need in such uncertain times. When we come together and collectively give to a local charity, we are making a positive impact. We are all in this together!
