Dear 100+ Women Who Care Dufferin, We are thrilled to announce that Alzheimer Society of Dufferin, The Orangeville Food Bank And Dufferin/ Caledon Victim Services have been...
We often hear that “It takes a village” and that “There is strength in numbers”. As a member of 100 Women, I get to experience the impact of a large group of women coming together to combine donations into one single gift. When we receive the feedback from our previous gift recipients we are able to hear first hand how much a large donation can benefit a charity. The meetings are only 4 times a year and are short and to the point. Such a simple concept yet it yields extraordinary results.
I am so grateful to the group of women who initiated 100 Women Who Care Dufferin. I look forward to the four yearly meetings to socialize with friends over a glass of wine in an elegant venue. Most importantly though, I leave each meeting feeling energized in knowing that I have contributed in making a significant positive impact in my community. The meetings are run efficiently, thus enabling the early-to-bed types to be home in a timely fashion. What’s not to love about being a part of this outstanding movement? It is a win-win scenario for all.
